Lighthouse in Escombreras Island

On top of the island of Escombreras, 65 meters above sea level, sits this 8-meter high lighthouse built in 1971. The light beam can be seen from as far as 17 nautical miles (30.8 kilometers), warning sailors on the presence of this island, known for its proximity to the coast and archaeological treasures.
