Panoramic Views of Murcia

In this text we suggest some places, all inside the El Valle y Carrascoy Regional Park, where there are bird's-eye-views of the city of Murcia and its surrounding areas.- Asomada castle, in the Cadena mountain pass. To access this place and see Murcia and the Cartagena countryside, park your car in the Castillo de Portazgo recreational area of the mountain pass, and take any of the trekking routes, all of which are easy and suitable for the whole family.
- Route between the peaks of Cresta del Gallo and Pico del Relojero. Along this route there are two places with panoramic views of the entire city of Murcia: the “miradores” (Spanish for viewpoints) of “Navetas” and “Barranco del Sordo”. Any of the two is perfect for a little break and for taking in the immensity of the city.
- Our Lady of Fuensanta Sanctuary. Near this famous temple, right next to the city, you can sit at the “Quitapesares” restaurant and have a nice tapa or drink while enjoying lovely views of Murcia.
