Calblanque Regional Park

Calblanque. Playa Negrete The name Calblanque evokes the Mediterranean light, mild, warm breeze and infinite skies and stars. Calblanque is a coastal destination in the Region of Murcia declared Natural Park in 1987. That means that from the cove of Cala Reona, in Cabo de Palos, to the mining town of Portmán, one can enjoy the very nicely preserved environment of Calblanque, combining gorgeous coves, dunes, sand areas, salt flats and cliffs. The wildlife reserve of Parque Natural de Calblanque includes rocky formations that run parallel to the sea and descend softly to the flattest area: the Salinas del Rasall depression.
One of Calblanque beaches is Playa Larga, where one can take off all clothes and lay under the sun...nudity is allowed! Over one kilometer of fine golden sand where the sea whimsically plays with the land in peace and serenity. Its pristine waters and spectacular seabed, a diver's favorite, make Calblanque “a sea-land paradise exhibiting the wildest, most natural side of the Murcian coastline”. If you like quiet, natural places...put Calblanque first on your list.
Just jump on the Cartagena-La Manga freeway, take the Calblanque exit before Cabo de Palos, and be ready to enjoy this Murcian jewel.

To access the Calblanque Regional Park, get on the freeway to La Manga and take exit 10. Once on the service road, take a right in the dirt road leading to the Park. Crossroads are posted and there is an information office. Access to most beaches is really near the parking facilities at Calblanque. To get to the cove of Cala del Barco and Parreño beach, you need to walk on trails.
You can also get to the Park on the trail that starts in the coves of Cala Reona in Cabo de Palos and Cala del Barco in La Manga Club.
