Roman Pathway

Parque Regional de Calblanque
30385 - Cartagena-

Spanish name: Calzada Romana

Roman Pathway The historical relevance and natural value of this place have favored a restoration respectful of the original materials and pathway, removing the vegetation on it and conditioning the floral walls to facilitate access. The natural environment has also been worked on so that visitors can walk through these historical traces and enjoy the environmental treasures at Monte de las Cenizas.

The pathway is an irregular, 1,400-meter cobblestone. Trekking difficulty is medium so please make sure to wear proper shoes. The pathway is in an area of significant historical and natural value. Please walk only in designated areas and do not disturb the animals or handpick plants. Littering and lighting fire is strictly prohibited.

Parking: if you are coming by car the best place to park is the open space by the Llano de Beal detour on the road between La Manga Freeway and Portmán.
