Plaza de España, S/N
30880 Águilas
Plaza de España, square located in the old quarter of Águilas, has large gardens that have enhanced the beauty of this municipality since 1874. The square is surrounded by many buildings of different architectural styles such as the Town Hall with its Neomudéjar-style facade, and the 18th-century church of San José where the figure of Águilas Patron Saint (Our Lady of Sorrows) is kept. The figure is a piece by Roque López, disciple of the master Francisco Salzillo.
