Located Southwest of the town of
Aledo, this ravine was very important for ancient settlers because of its economic and flour supply significance, essential for daily life many centuries ago. In the ravine there were six windmills, of which only a few remains still stand. The best preserved structure is in the area of
Patalache, where the bucket and water channeling structure are seen. These windmills used the power of flowing water to move the stones and turn grains into flour. A visit to this area quickly reveals the importance of the ravine back in the day, which is why locals still value this place.
