The Castle of Blanca

Initially built betwenn the 11^th and 12^th Centuries by the Saracens it was enlarged later on. It reached special importance in the 13^th Century. The masonry work is reinforced with abutments and lateral props. In times of splendour it had 12m towers, two wings and crenellated terrace, arch windows and loopholes. Curiously, the central fortified tower is not solid.
