16th century. This Mudéjar church made of one single nave, with cross arches and wooden ceilings, could be the oldest temple in the Region of Murcia.
Together with other temples, this church, known in Spanish as Iglesia de los Pasos de Santiago, was part of a via crucis from which only the shrine in the corner of the streets Acisclo Díaz and Pasos de Santiago remain. The via crucis started at St Michael the Archangel Church and included the participation of the Rosary Fraternity and the Knights of St. James.
