The
San Juan Bautista Chapel was built in 1628, undergoing a number of restoration works, the last in 1993, when the pictorial decoration of its inner walls and domes was improved, a new vestry built and a number of large saloons expanded.
Originally, the door of this small church was in the North facade, just behind the protective iron fence, but in 1816 the decision was made to build the door in the facade facing the town. The church is currently a humble, single-floor temple comprised of four sections.
