Navidad Fortress in the Port of Cartagena Fuerte de Navidad. Center for Defensive Architecture Interpretation.
19th-century fortress that protected entry into the city by sea. Inside the fortress visitors can know more about the defensive and military heritage of Cartagena.
Fuerte de Navidad was built on the remains of the old 12th-century Navidad Battery. 
 
Opening hours:
High season: July 1 – September 15.
Tuesday thru Saturday: 11 AM to 3PM and 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
Sunday: 11 AM to 2 PM.
 
Mid season: March 31 – June 30:
Tuesday thru Sunday: 11 AM to 3 PM.
Easter, Tuesday thru Sunday: 11 AM to 3 PM. 
September 16 – November 2:
Tuesday thru Saturday: 11 AM to 5:30 PM  Sunday: 11 AM to 3 PM.
 
Low season: November 3 – December 7:
Tuesday thru Friday: 11 AM - 2 PM Weekend and Holidays: 11 AM - 4 PM
December 8 – March 14: Closed.
 
Rate: €3.5 per person. Reduced price: 2.5 euros
