Compañía Waterwheel

The original Noria de la Compañía was located next to the Subirana irrigation ditch, in the Punta del Lugar area where Jesuits installed it in 1750 to water the Casa Compañía orchards.

 

After the construction of Parque de la Compañía, the waterwheel was moved to a different location. The contribution of the Municipal Training Workshop made it possible to restore the original metallic structure and spokes and to add pieces which were missing.
