Municipal Auditorium of Abanilla

The building was erected on an old irrigation pond still in use, aspect taken into consideration by Jesús Carballal, the architect who designed the Municipal Auditorium.

 

The auditorium was built because the municipality needed a place for concerts and theater plays. Ever since its inauguration, the building has hosted many interesting events, including the International Folklore Festival of Abanilla.
