"One step, one story"
Trekking and history

Easy trail, suitable for children, that goes through the park and its history. There are stops in the three visitor centers along the way:
El Valle, San Antonio el Pobre and Luz. During the route, trekkers can see many species of grass, rosemary and thyme, all under the shade of beautiful pine trees.
The trail starts in the side of El Valle visitor center. After some 800 meters, it is possible to see the first few houses of Verdolay and the shape of three metal pilgrims. At that point, take the trail on your right until you get to a crossroads. Then, take a left all the way to the old chapel of San Antonio el Pobre and the interpretation center. It is important to come during opening hours; otherwise, the gate may be closed which would mean no walking on the trail! After leaving behind the chapel, go up the stairs next to the waterfall and continue on the road. Take the trail to the castle ("castillo de la Luz") After visiting the castle, continue on the trail around it, going through the ravine which eventually leads to the Luz visitor center and the Iberian Luz sanctuary.
