Diving in Cartagena. Isla de las Palomas DIVING AREAS
  1. Islas de las Palomas (9). Three different dives; the main one happens during the boat ride back from the island. Depth: 5 – 25 meters.
  2. Bajo de las Palomas (9). Underwater mountain ridge right next to the island. Depth: 10 – 30 meters.
  3. Cueva Neptuno or Cueva de la Virgen (9). This cave, one of the most visited, sits East of the Cabo Tiñoso cape. Easy access and connection to an interior lagoon connected to the surface. Depth: up to 14 meters.
  4. Isla de Escombrera (10). Three different dives, with the main one at Pared del Capitán (a 500-meter long rocky wall). Depth: 0 – 25 meters.
  5. Bajo de Escombreras (10). Underwater mountain ridge right next to the island. Depth: 8 – 35 meters.
  6. Shipwrecks of the Armada Diving Center (10). Wrecks of a towboat and a plane cockpit. Depth: 12 – 22 meters.
  7. Las siete colinas (9). Group of seven mountain ridges. Depth: 10 – 30 meters.
