Castillo de los Vélez, fortified military construction from the late 15th century, is in the town center of Mazarrón, on a small hill accessible from different streets.
The castle was renovated and refurbished as an auditorium, but due to problems encountered after the works, it is currently closed and can only be visited in guided tours organized by the Town Hall.
