University Campus of La Merced

20^th century. In 1935 the School of La Merced was purchased to the Maristas brothers, from which only the old cloister with its well remains, in order to be the site for the University of Murcia.The first University Student Residence in Spain was located on the grounds.This campus currenttly houses the School of Law and the School of Arts and Literature.
