Spanish name: La Muralla de Lorca
The Mediana of Lorca was fortified with a defence wall of almost two kilometres in length. The entrance and exit from the town was made through six gates situated in the towers of the rampart and the defence wall. The gate located in the tower is called. Porche de San Antonio, which still preserves the entrance situated in a corner with a smaller tower next to it to complete the defence of this entrance to the medieval town.
