The last of those that used to line the road to Granada. The original chapel was built in 1570.
In the 18th century it was renovated and adapted to accommodate the image of Our Lady of the Assumption, the patroness of Jumilla. The chapel has two baroque domes, one above the high altar and the second above the chapel of Our Lady. Last major reconstruction in 2002.
