Salazar Rosso Palace - Archaeological Museum 16th - 17th Century, Renaissance style.

This mansion was built by the Salazar - Rosso families, Genoese traders who had settled in the town. The simple facade boasts a splendid carved stone entrance with intricate design demonstrating Italian influence. This design includes the coat of arms flanked by two sphinxes each bearing the head of a bearded man, the bust of a woman and the lower limbs of a lion.

Throughout history this building has been associated with the illustrious names of its successive owners, such as the Marquis of Esquilache or the Moreno Rocafull family.
