Railway Monument in Águilas This monument, one of the first steam engines used in Águilas, was built in 1889 in Glasgow (Scotland) and brought in pieces by boat to the port of Águilas. The locomotive, commissioned in April 1, 1890 and decommissioned in November 15, 1967, is a tribute to the railway for its contribution to the development of this town.
