Poplar Grove of Lorca

-Lorca-

Spanish name: Alamedas de Lorca

Poplar Grove of Lorca 18th Century. This extensive area of parkland, a green lung in the city centre, has been transformed over the years. Strolling along its boulevards, we discover an area in which we can escape from the hustle and bustle of city life in peaceful surroundings between the town centre and the Tiata district area, to the Virgen de las Huertas Sanctuary. It is also a popular area for playing sports.

Many decidous trees can be found here, such as Sycamore Maple trees, which lose their leaves in winter allowing the rays of sunlight to shine through, while in summer they provide plenty of cool shade. It's a frequently visited area where many residential properties surrounded by private gardens can be found.
