Located in the genuine neighborhood of
El Carmen, on the South side of the city. Although the station was initially designed as an auxiliary installation, its scope was adapted to make it a full independent 2-story, rectangular building of eclectic style.
Despite its simple style, the station has some interesting ornamental elements such as balconies with Mudejar style banisters, a shield (rear facade) and a clock (main facade) between scrolls and garlands on top of the upper cornice.
The combination of bricks, predominant material, and other elements used to finish the openings, angles and cornices, make this a colorful building.
