Balsicas
30509 -Torre Pacheco-
Spanish name: Molino de los Paquillos
This cereal windmill, located in the Balsicas district, very near Avileses, has the shape and style of other windmills in Torre Pacheco: cylindrical base and long truncated shape. Only the tower, with its two doors and two windows in opposite sides (East and West) stand from the original structure, made from local limestone. Back in the day, the building had a rotating roof and fully adjustable Latin-styled sails to optimize the power and direction of the wind.
