Icarus Monument

This bronze Icarus that stands proudly in the port avenue is 2.5 meters high and 4+ meters wide. The monument honors the carnival of Águilas, without a doubt the town's most important celebration. The monument is the work of sculptor Mariano González Beltrán, whose pieces are found all over the Region of Murcia.
