Fine Arts Museum of Murcia The Fine Arts Museum of Murcia is one of the most rooted institutions of our region, being founded in 1864. The building where the Museum is located was proyected in 1910, and it was restored during the 70s and 90s decades.

Preservation, purchase, research and diffusion have been always guaranteed by the collaboration between the Museum and other institutions, like “Comisión Provincial de Monumentos” or “Junta de Patronato”.

Many artworks can be seen in the Fine Arts Museum of Murcia, like “El martirio de San Agapito de Palestrina” by Odazzi, “El Retrato de Don Javier Fuentes y Ponte” by Federico de Madrazo, “Viturbio” editions from the 18th century or “Comedias” by Leandro Fernández.
