This building of Mannerist style by Julián Alamíquez oversees the city center of Jumilla since the 16th century. After its last renovation in 1999, the palace houses the Archeology section of the Jerónimo Molina Municipal Museum, where pieces from the Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Copper periods are exhibited, as well as a collection of mosaics, coins and ceramics from Roman times. The building has a ground floor and two upper floors. The main facade has two semicircular arches supported by three Tuscan-style columns and a royal Borbon coat of arms. The first floor used to house the Council room and everything related to municipal administration, whereas the second floor, much more artistic, housed the chamber with interlocking Salomonic columns and thirteen decorated arches.
