Clares House

Casa Clares, located at the junction of the Aire and Cuatro Santos streets, was the first and most important work of the Cartagena-born architect Mario Spottorno y Sanz de Andino. Some of the main features of the house are its facades, especially in Calle del Aire where they are more noble and ornamented. The decoration was based mostly on flower and vegetable motives and wavy cornices.
