Spanish name: Palacio Almudí

Palacio Almudí The "Almudí" was a buildig for the storage of grain and cereals built in 1556, and it was operating for over three hundred years. During the 19th century it housed several government institutions such as the Court of Criminal of Murcia, the Courts and the Provincial Court.

Remodeled and restored several times (17th and 18th centuries), in 1935 was vacated and demolished to construct the current building in 1946.

Actually, this building houses the Department of Culture, the Almudí Arts Centre and the Municipal Archives of Murcia.
