Los Belones

Los Belones, little town near the Mar Menor area on the Cartagena-La Manga freeway, has a population of over 2,000 residents, 15% of them from other European countries.

Los Belones has become a meeting point for British and German tourists living in the neighboring developments and beaches, mostly because of its proximity to landmarks such as the wildlife reserve of Calblanque, La Manga Club Resort and the beaches of Los Nietos and Mar de Cristal.

Its proximity to a number of natural areas makes Los Belones an ideal starting point for trekking routes to the sea and through areas of significant ecological importance. It is interesting to mention the popular flea market held every Tuesday, with many visitors coming from other villages that give the town a fresh, colorful and multicultural vibe.
