Santomera

As a result of its proximity to the region's capital, Santomera is included in the metropolitan area of Murcia.  This little town is also known as "Limonar de Europa" (Europe's lemon grove) because of its many magnificent lemon tree orchards.

In Santomera visitors can enjoy a number of interesting locations: the 19^th century Parish Church; the Bendamé watermill built by the Arabs in the current district of Siscar; Casa de Cobatillas, an old 18^th-century Dominican convent...not to mention the Santomera reservoir, where you may want to go for a little dip!
